I do believe that perfect is a waste of time.

Hey chickies, Here’s a little nugget for you…

Sheesh… why did it take me so bloody long to work that one out?

If only I’d have listened to this sage advice 20 years ago, I could have saved myself from wasting so much precious time attempting to be the best daughter, sister, friend, mother, wife, person, employer, employee…. the list goes on and onnnnnn….

Here’s a simple fact:

That wonderwoman suit only comes in size 6 latex, its never going to fit me, and attempting to squeeze into it is just embarrassing for all concerned.

Now, it took me around 39 years, but I once I finally accepted this little gem, and decided to move on to being the best me that I can be, life got a whole lot more enjoyable!

And while I’m at it, I also refuse to judge anyone else for not being able to fit into that bloody suit either.

For ‘start offs’, wouldn’t life be boring if we all wore the same outfit???

So join me chickies in not being so hard on ourselves…

Lets practice:

recognising and finding joy in our great points

finding ways to grow and improve on the things we’re not as happy with…

making a conscious effort to not judge other chickies for having crooked halos either. Lets get on with making the very best of what we’ve got.
